Living Well Assisted Living is a newly established Virginia Beach luxury senior living community and assisted care facility. We strive to surpass the expectations of the standard long-term assisted care facility. In addition to providing daily assistance for basic necessities, our team goes above and beyond to enrich the lives of each and every one of our residents. We consider them part of our family, and we genuinely care about their health, happiness, and well-being. This assisted living facility is just awesome. Each of the 8 bedrooms are beautifully decorated, there’s a large activity and kitchen area, and all of the bathrooms were updated with safety/comfort in mind. This is a family run business and they’ve done an outstanding job remodeling this home into the perfect place for an elderly relative. There’s a beautiful park-like setting in the backyard with lots of shade. And the patient/caregiver ratio is MUCH lower than what you’d find in a nursing home. Both of my parents lived in local nursing homes at the end of their lives…. And I would have given anything if there was a beautiful home like this for them. There’s a lot of love in this home. I highly recommend!!!

My mother has been a resident in Living Well Assisted Living for 10 months. She moved in the first week they opened. Four years ago this month my mom fell and broke her hip in six places. She already had been experiencing some dementia. After 3 years of around the clock care for mom by my siblings and myself, in the house we grew up in, the level of care reached a point that a Care Facility was needed. My oldest siblings interviewed many facilities before choosing Living Well. It has been a blessing for us. All of the resident's nursing assistants are experienced, personable and professional. Also, check on the ratio of caregivers to residence at a larger facilities. Something to keep in mind. The facility is in a residential neighborhood. It has been remodeled into a lovely Senior Center. It looks and feels like a home. They have security doors and other safety features. The yard is picturesque. The backyard has a nice deck with railings and a concrete sidewalk that can accommodate wheelchairs. The atmosphere at Living Well is always peaceful. Very quickly the residence developed a sincere care for each other. That set each of us in the family at ease knowing that mom was among friends. Charlene, the owner, has a genuine heart for the residents and is more than a business owner due to her commitment to each resident. If you need a Senior Care Facility for your parent, I recommend that you include Living Well Assisted Living in your search.
